It is then attached to it and fastened. The PVCs come in a variety of stunning colours and textures as well. Some are as follows:
  • Satin –The surface is really smooth and so the light reflection is moderate.
  • Glossy – Here the surface is smooth and highly reflective.
  • Mat – The surface is smooth but light reflection is considerably less. However, it has a touch of sophistication and is quite easily a very classy choice when it comes to PVCs.

  1. Tough and durable – Unlike most other kinds of ceiling installations, stretch ceilings are really tough and durable. They don’t crumble easily and can handle immense pressure and carry a lot of weight. Experiments have been carried out where people have stood inside or on top of stretch ceilings and not a single scratch had appeared.
  2. They don’t absorb odour – Most commercial spaces, restaurants and shops have stretch ceiling, not only because they look classy, but because they do not absorb odour. This means that whenever they are installed, the entire place will always smell fresh.
  3. Water resistant – Stretch ceilings are water resistant and that is something that they are really good at. Most ceilings have a problem with water but one square meter of stretch ceiling can withstand 100 litres of water. This covers the problems of water leakages and the ceilings aren’t damaged either.
  4. Print on them –Stretch ceilings allow people to paint over them and print on them. This means that they are a great choice if you are looking to make some changes of your own.
  5. Non-flammable – Stretch ceilings do not catch fire or drop molten bits. In case of a fire, they just melt away.
